Sacred Economics – good can emerge from economic crisis.

Charles Eisenstein graduated from Yale in philosophy and mathematics. He presents this short movie with powerful visuals and great insights about the monetary system and the desirable things that can emerge from the coming crisis

Eisenstein is author of Sacred Economics and The Yoga of Eating: Transcending Diets and Dogma to Nourish the Natural Self, among other titles. He spent many years studying Eastern spiritual traditions, in search of the truth that reason and intellect fail to grasp.

In this video he talks about his views on the monetary system, the gift economy and the transition we are experiencing as a civilization. He sees modern civilization as a stage of transition from childhood to adulthood.

  1. When I hear Yoga and “The Natural Self” I get wary.
Apart from that, cool – I am just a bit doubtful about Mankind’s ability to reach adulthood within the limits of our genes, fancy talk will never heal THAT.
