India receives solar energy equivalent to nearly 5,000 trillion kWh/year, which is far more than the total energy consumption of the country today. By contrast, it produces a negligible amount of solar energy for use – a mere 0.2% of total energy resources.

It is very interesting to promote solar power in india for rural uplift ment and use solar power for agriculture. I am a resident of India and staying at Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. I am a retired Principal of Degree and Junior Colleges with a M.Phil and Doctorate in Engineering Mathematics and Applied Mathematics respectively. If am given the necessary land by the government of India or Andhra Pradesh, I am ready to commit my self for the said mission and if necessary I am even ready for any training to be undertaken for the purpose in India or abroad on deputation by the Government.
