Off Grid Home › Forums › Technical Discussion › Solar PV in the UK – can someone clarify something please?
Science needs you!
I’m having an argument over on a UK forum called MoneySavingExpert on a thread about solar panels. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.php?t=2637431
I’ve given up the will to argue – most of them are coming up with rot like “I can watch my meter spin backwards on my 2kWp system while boiling a kettle AND I made £800 last year” etc etc.
This is in the UK – most seriously think that a 2kW array provides 2kW. And I repeat, this is in the UK!
Does anyone on here want to pop over there and take up the baton for a bit? You can see I’ve put up a good fight, but it’s quite exhausting treading water in the bullsxxt laden waters…
You are right about putting up a good fight, but I think you are wasting your breath with some of the people on that forum
