How is everyone doing on food? Are you stocked up? Do you have the kinds of foods that don’t require refrigeration or cooking? If you don’t have these things in place, now is the time to do it. You don’t have to go out and purchase expensive MREs or other specialized foods, honestly you can find a lot of easy and inexpensive foods in this category in your local grocery store or even in your local dollar store. Things like canned meats (chicken, tuna, beef…), shelf stable cooked rice, soups and stews in a can… There is shelf stable milk, I find that at the Dollar Tree, of course you have to consume it within a short time of opening it, I would think that for most people, that wouldn’t be a big problem.

All of these things (and more) are readily available and fairly inexpensive, even if you just bought a few of these at a time each week (or payday), you’d eventually build up a good stock of food.
