We are looking for families or groups of individuals who are heavily considering changing to a life off the grid. This should be fueled by a personal belief that this lifestyle will be best for them and their families, however their loved ones may or may not be entirely convinced.

Ideal candidates should not be extremely practiced in the art of living off the grid but will be serious and have done extensive research: They have the desire and the knowledge but not the hands-on experience.

The basic premise of the show will be to provide an off the grid homestead for the family and see how they put their research and skills into practice.

This will offer a chance for individuals who are interested in pursuing a different lifestyle to experience the challenges, difficulties , decisions and rewards of living off the grid.
