The best places in South-West Britain to have a picnic are revealed in a new survey. City types might wonder why risk creasing and grass stains just to eat their impossibly quick lunch in the fresh air.

But for the rest of the country, it seems nothing can stop the British love of picnicking. A recent survey found that almost a quarter of people would eat outside every day, if weather permitted. Click here for the list of locations
