Service to other oriented, non conformist, highly intellectual, who adheres to the Non Aggression Principle. Don't be confused, this does not mean I take on the role of a door mat or someone who won't defend himself. I detest statism, liars, service to self oriented people, bullies, abusers of animals, and people who promote the destruction of the environment for profit, or any other reason. I love open minded service to other types, who actively seek solutions to todays problems. Here is some info on my acreage, as posted at HelpX. I have a 5 acre parcel which borders a provincial park on one side and crown land on the other. It is 1 km from the 7th largest fresh water lake in BC Canada. This land is a 2.5 hour drive from Prince George, BC, west of Fort St. James. This parcel started off as raw bush, back in 2011. That summer, I put in a small driveway and started a cabin. Since then I have cleared a pasture for my three horses, cleared garden areas, and re-worked the driveway so I could bring in my large horse trailer. My last flurry of activity was the summer of 2015. The pictures shown are from that summer. It is looking run-down now, but should clean up nicely. I checked on the property in 2016 and the horse pasture had grown 6' tall! Alas, with the lack of attention, poplar saplings have also shot up. This year, my plan is to completely finish all projects so the acreage is as self sufficient as possible. I am considering forming a legal Trust to transfer the title into when the work is done, as part of a pilot project to build off-grid acreages for people to free themselves from economic slavery world wide. Here is what you need to know. This acreage is currently off-grid, and will remain so. The cabin will be powered by solar when it is finished, and running water will be available. I have already installed a cistern for water storage, which needs the bottom cemented to be finished. The main cabin is not yet complete. The bottom is 24'X24', and upstairs is 24' by 32'. This will become the main bunk house for helpers. Finishing the main cabin and getting gardens started are the first main priorities. Then more structures will be built. I have a brand new band saw mill on location with 24' of track. I saved every log and they are all dry. I would like to process them all over the course of the summer. Herein lies a great opportunity for carpenters and carpenter apprentices. There is tons of wood work to do! There is also a good old Lincoln 200 amp welder. This runs great and would be a nice practice piece of equipment for welders and welder apprentices. There is always a welding project to be done! Organic practices will be used in regards to food production. The nearby lake is clean, huge, and full of fish to catch. For recreation, I have a Hobie Cat 18 sailboat, a wood river boat, and plans to acquire a cabin cruiser for fishing and camping. There is also a First Nations neighbor with a traditional trap-line, who could also use a hand from time to time. He has cabins on a very private lake, and is full of knowledge regarding native traditions and the local area.
