I live out in the desert.
Summers will be 120F with 10% humidity, and it will stay like that for 6 months. I remember 90F in the middle of the night!
I have been thinking about ways to cool it down, and one of the idea has to do with evaporating membrane.
Basically, if you cover the roof of the vehicle with some type of material that can soak up a lot of water, as it evaporate it will cool the vehicle down.
Has anyone done this? I am looking for suggestions on types of fabric/materials, I will be pumping the water using a aquarium type of pump, that will add miniscule amount to the top of the material and it should dissipate quickly covering the whole roof, thoughout the day.
