woodheat.org will give you good information on wood stoves and any home builder online magazine would have useful information on insulation and draft control.

When I built my home I bought hard copy “Fine Homebuilding” magazine because the internet had not yet developed into what it is to day.

Any well stocked magazine store should have a choice of magazines on DIY home building including how to insulate.

Quite possibly there are discussion forums dealing specifically with the issues faced by the DIY home builder. Try a google search. Good Luck.
