Hi,
The 40Ah wheelchair battery is probably 12v, which is 480 watts of power (40 x 12).
20x AA 2500Mah NiMH is 20×2.5Ah = 50Ah, but its 50Ah at 1.2v, so total watts stored is 50 x 1.2 = 60 watts.
The wheelchair battery stores alot more power, thats why its heavier and more expensive!
