Anyone know if there are temperature sensors that can be connected to computer? Other sensors that might be good are humidity and solar intensity sensors. I’m looking for temp sensors that I can embed also in masonry or concrete or earth walls or structures.
Try Omega Engineering.
if they don’t list it in their inch thick catalog it probably doesn’t exist.
They even sell raw thermocouple wire for DIY
very good, I would like to try out some computer data gathering on some projects.
They list
temperature
pressure
strain
force
flow and level
PH, and conductivity
and even “sanitary”

this looks great.. I guess the temp range can be very high? I am wanting to test for furnace temps.. Stove temps.. etc.
Once the temp gets hotter than cooling jacket systems the temp sensors are more often called pyrometers. If you are going to make your own get a j or K couple with a linear range for the temps you expect to monitor.
You probably have a pyro in your truck exhaust.
