As my name says i am a camper.I have built a little set-up and was wanting any suggestions from anyone.
What i did was bought a 1000 watt inverter, hooked it to a car battery. Then plugged a 12amp car battery charger into the converter and hooked it back into the battery(hoping it could charge itself?).I plan on running a small tv and some 12volt lights off of this setup. The charger has automatic full charge shut-off so i dont think overcharging will be an issue ,but i am not an electrical guru at all.what are the chances that this contraption will stay charged while being used?
I dont plan on using this for long term power, just wanting to have electric power when i am out camping in my camper.Hoping to last at least through a weekend without needing recharged.
Can you say ‘perpetual motion’? I knew you could.
