Bio-Engineering- what are you doing about it?

Is anyone taking precautions against the chemical cocktail being sprayed daily across the globe?  I’ve been thinking heavily on this.  How to filter the rain water or surface water you drink from, how to farm and garden without toxic exposure to the air; indoor agriculture, natural plant filtration systems, etc.  Everything from purifying and rebuilding the soil, protecting trees from aluminum absorption and build-up, keeping chemicals off of garden plants, supporting struggling local wildlife, insects, and fungi, keeping your indoor air toxin free, etc.

(I’m not asking for a debate on the reality of bio-engineering, please, if you don’t buy it, label me a loon and move on)
